  • Solar Operations & Maintenance Technician

    H&H SOLAR ENERGY SERVICES, INC. has an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified Solar Operations & Maintenance Technician to join our growing Solar Energy Services team.  The incumbent will be responsible for performing service warranty and operations and maintenance (O & M) work on commercial solar energy installations.  Providing exceptional service will contribute towards the company’s goals of developing, maintaining and expanding customer relationships.  A construction job site presence in various environmental conditions will be required.  Travel to job sites will be necessary, but overnight travel is minimal.


    Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and industrial controls and a minimum 3 years of experience in the commercial solar PV field, including direct experience working on projects of 2 Megawatts or greater is required.  Utility-scale experience is desired. Journeyman Electrician license is preferred. Must be comfortable working on job-sites in the field and in an office environment. NABCEP Installer and OSHA 10 Certifications preferred.     Able to follow building plans, material lists, equipment needs. Review blueprints, building codes and specifications with the project manager to determine efficient job procedures and prefab opportunities. Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures to these systems. Understanding and knowledge of job site safety. Instructing, guiding and managing apprentices and laborers on the job-site.


    Education and Experience:

    High School Diploma or GED

    Current Journeyman or Master Plumber license for the State of Wisconsin


    Job Requirements:

    Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

    Work in all weather conditions

    Solid multi-tasking abilities

    Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills

    Detail oriented

    Must have transportation to and from job-site
